1Cover is an Australian based insurance intermediary brand that leads the market in direct travel insurance,with over 1 million customers.
Increasing brand appeal
Since the boom in direct insurance, many companies have failed to build successful online brands that consumers can actually relate to. To protect their number one position in travel as well as move into other insurance offers we developed a strategic direction that would help broaden their appeal to a growing internet audience.
The consumer's hero
Our solution – 1Cover Man is a fun and easily recognisable character that injects a bit of wit and personality into what is usually quite a dry and predictable sector. The big idea behind 1Cover Man is that he is always working hard to provide consumers with a better deal and a more engaging experience.
The new brand has helped 1Cover move beyond a value proposition, into a proper leadership brand - with tangible results.
The media campaign
Having created the new brand we went on to created a TVC, bus billboards and press ads to launch the new brand. Being rigorous in our project management ensured every available dollar was spent wisely...
